Italian Madman is Lynched by Crowd
ATTER KILLING FRENCHMEN. Received Tuesday, 7.50 p.m. PARIS, Dec. 3. An Italian who had previously been confined to a lunatic asylum ran amok at Saint Louis du Rhone, rushed to the police station and shot a policeman dead. Returning to tho street, ho killed a sergeant of the Foreign Legion and wounded seven others. The Republican Guard pursued the lunatic in a car and fired, wounding him, but before it could make an arrest, the crowd seized and lynched tho madman.
