PLUNKET SOCIETY.
MEETING OF LEVIN BRANCH. The monthly meeting of the Royal and Chifdren, Levin branch, was held and children, Levin branch, was held in the Plunket Rooms on Monday. There were present: Mesdames Ilobson (in the chair), Percy, W. S. Park, L. J. Hunter, T. Bevan, G. D. Hamilton, D. J. Thompson, Goldsmith, W. Smaill, and Davie, Miss McKegg, and Ensign Blaikie. Apologies . for absence were received from Mesdames Keedwell, C. Bartholomew, and Miss Hitchcock. Ordinary accounts were passed for payment.' Nurse Norris submitted the following report: Total numbers for Levin, Shannon and Ohau: New cases, 9 babies, 1 mother;' visits to homes, 100; adults to rooms, 195; babies to rooms, 151; older children, 49; advised by telephone, 15. It was decided to have a Plunket rest room at. the Horowhenua A. and P. Show in January. The treasurer acknowledged with thanks the following subscriptions:— Mrs T. C. Vincent. £1; Mr J. 0. Milnes, £1 Is; Mrs F. F. Newman, Mrs J. Inee, 10s; Mesdames T. Bevan, Malcolm, S. Jackson, Suhan, and Rae, Messrs K. Aitken and G. W. Wilson, 5s each; Mr Wilkinson, 2s 6d. The treasurer would be pleased to receive all subscriptions from members at an earlv date, as it is nearing tho end of the financial year. Subscriptions may be paid to Mrs W. Smail (treasurer), any member of- tho committee, or the Plunket Nurse.
