Dilapidated Tenements In Marseilles Collapse
THIRTEEN BELIEVED DEAD. MAYOR PREVIOUSLY WARNED BY TENANTS. Monday, 7 p.m. MARSEILLES, Dec. 2. ■ Three months after the tenants ha-1 complained to the Mayor about the dangerous condition of the property, two houses collapsed. Eight bodies were recovered, uiclurt ir.g those of a mother and two infants. Five have not yet been found and it i* expected they arc dead. Eleven were seriously injured.
