Th'e railroad heads at Chicago telegraphed they would buy over 2.500,000 tons of steel during the coming year President Hoover’s Law Enforce mont Commission has undertaken to conduct throughout the nation a survey of the effect of slums upon crime, with the idea of a great building programme for congested city districts.
