CHILD WELFARE.
NEW HOSPITAL FOR DUNEDIN,
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day.
The Government has given its approval to the proposal that St. Helens Hospital, Dunedin, at present under tho control of tho Health Department, and the Batchelor Hospital under the control of tho Otago Hospital Board shall be replaced by a combined institution under tho Otago Hospital Board for administration purposes, and of the Otago University for the teaching of obstetrics. Tho new’ hospital will enable the standard of instruction to be raised.
