A lassie sat at a piano playing ‘ ‘ Chanson Tristc," while soldiers, sailors, policemen, postman and civilians passed before the sentinels around the coffin. SERVICE IN WELLINGTON. The Town hall was crowded tills afternoon for the memorial service for the late General Bramwell Booth, the speakers being Commissioner Hay, Mrs Hay, the Rev. Carpenter and the Hon. \V. A. Veitch representing the government. The Dead March, in fciaul was played at the conclusion of the service. MEMORY HONOURED IN LEVIN. A memorial service was held in the Century Hall last evening, over which the Mayor (Mr 0. Bleakhorn) presided and in which Ensign Blaikie and the- Revs. W. Beckett and R. Crocket participated. A report will appear in-, to-morrow’s issue.
