FATAL MOTOR-CYCLE SKID.

When motor-cycling on Maunu Roa:l on Saturday night, John McAuley, aged 26, who Avas employed by the Public Works Department at Pukohuia, was capsized as a result of the machine skidding in loose metal. He was admitted to the Whangarei ho«Hospital Avith a fracture of the skull, and expired yesterday.
