LEADERS’ CAMP AT O.D. FARM.
The summer retreat of Methodist Bible Class leaders, which is being held at the Central Development Farm, is proving an enjoyable as well as useful experience for the young men and women, numbering about eighty, who ar? attending it. Each morning they separ ate into email study circles, which are under ten leaders. At 11.30 a.m., they reassemble to hear an address, after which questions occupy the time up till luncheon. The afternoons are left free for the students to follow recreational or other interests. In the evening a talk is given dealing with some aspect of the Bible Class movement, its aims and objects. The camp is under the management of the Rev. E, P. Blamires, general superintendent of the Methodist Young Peoples Department, and the camp-mother is Mrs Avery, wife of the Rev. W, Avery, of Eltham.
The order of studies was commenced on Saturday with the first of a series devoted to the consideration of Christian progress, the subject then being “Progress in the Idea of God."
