RURAL CREDITS DEVELOPING.
TWENTY ASSOCIATIONS FOE.MED WELLINGTON, This Lay. The Rural Board met this week. The report of the Commissioner showed news of associations being formed at Alataura (SouthlandV and Ruawai (North Auckland). A further number of dairy companies had requested the Board to investigate their financial position in order that their guarantees might be accepted tor loan to suppliers. Twenty co-operative associations have now been formed in all, and the full benefits of the preliminary organisation work should be felt this year. Funds are available to enable the board to meet all calls on it for financial assistance, and the excellent sea'son is enabling dairy farmers who have obtained assistance from the Board to repay their instalments without difficulty.
