Mr J. Linklater, M.P., will attend the Levin Show on the opening day, Tuesday, January 29th.
A Brisbane cable says the death occurred, after several weeks’ illness, afc the age of sixty-eight, of Mr. Justice John Laskey Woolcock, of the Queensland Judiciary. He will be given a State funeral.
Mr J. Hammond Murray, who had to enter the Levin Private Hospital Hospital shortly before Christmas, owing to a breakdown of health, had sufficiently recovered to be able to leave that institution yesterday and return to at Papaitonga. His many friends will be pleased to know that he has benefitted considerably by the treatment which he underwent.
