A later letter .from Mr. Bartholomew contained a full report of the Centre ,'s meeting.—Gratification was expressed by members at the great interest taken by Mr. Bartholomew in the club's business, and it was generally agreed that he would be a most worthy representative of the club. It was decided to forward to him a letter of appreciation. Millward resigning as an active member of the club, he having left the district. He expressed his best wishes for the club's welfare" and said when in Otaki he would look forward to a game. —Resignation accepted . with great regret. Mr. T. W. Hughes, now in Sydney, wrote for his clearance from the Otaki Club as he desired to play in Sydney. —Clearance to be granted. Mr. Wilmot kindly offered to coae'h new players provided they arrived at the green at a suitable hour. Minor matters were also, considered, and it was agreed that the coming season should be the most successful in 'the history of the club.
