FIFTH ROYAL SHOW.
In connection with the Fifth Royal Show"to be held at Palmerston North on 30th and 31st October and Ist November of this,year, exhibitors are reminded that the entries in the home industries and photography'sections close on Saturday naxt, 29th inst., and the matter should be given immediate attention. A further reminder is give a to breeders and farmers that entries. in the live stock sections close a week later, on October 6th, and they should | m'ake a perusal of the schedule. The Railway Department- is granting excursion fares on the railways of both.. Islands,while the u'sual concessions an* to be made to exhibitors sending their exhibits by rail. Full particulars are v set out in the schedule and intending; exhibitors should send at once to the. secretary, Mr W. T. Penny, Box 85, Palmerston North, for one, and any further information which they may require.
