FARM COTTAGE DESTROYED A fire broke out in a four-roomed cottage on the estate of Mrs A. M. Ban-, kin, at. Ihakara, at 10 o'clock this morning, resulting in the destruction of the building and contents. It was a workman's cottage, and had been occu-. pied by Mr Em Bacon, who was absent at the time, .of the outbreak. The building was covered by an insurance policv held by the Alliance company.
