(Bv Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. A seven-roomed house at Glenfield, owned and occupied by C. S: Milne, was destroyed by'fire. The house'and contents were insured for £llOO. . FARM COTTAGE DESTROYED A fire broke out in a four-roomed cottage on the estate of Mrs A. M. Ban-, kin, at. Ihakara, at 10 o'clock this morning, resulting in the destruction of the building and contents. It was a workman's cottage, and had been occu-. pied by Mr Em Bacon, who was absent at the time, .of the outbreak. The building was covered by an insurance policv held by the Alliance company.
