TO FLY OVER LEVIN.
PROVIDED CONDITIONS ARE FAVOURABLE. The Mayor of Levin (Mr T. Hobson) sent a telegram yesterday to the Southern Cross fliers asking them-if possible to fly over, Levin on their return journey to Blenheim. A reply was received this morning from Squadron-Leader Kingsford. Smith and Plight-Liout. Ulm, as follows:—, “Itinerary now provides for departure from Wanganui'for Blenheim Monday morning, and if air conditions are favourable will fly over Levin.—Kingsford Ulm.”
