TO EXPLOIT AUSTRALIAN IRON DEPOSITS. (Kceeived This Bay, 10.0 a.m.) FiiEMANTLE, This Day. An influential group of Japanese capitalists has secured the/rights from the Commonwealth Government to exploit the iron ore deposits at Yampi Sound, in Western Australia, and a party of Japanese has just completed .a fortnight's inspection of the deposits there. Safe accommodation for ships has been found in the sound. The Asano organisation expects to spend ten millions sterling in Japan in treating ore from Yampi, which is very rich and capable of yielding a million tons jinnually after about the third year.
