To Keep Silver Bright.—Add about throe tablespoonsful of borax to a bowl of hot water, put the silver in, and leave in for some hours. Rinse in clear water and wipe it with a soft cloth. a Cleansing Greasy Hands.—When the hands are very dirty and greasy it is a good plan to wash them in a little paraffin before using soap and water. To Get Eid of Mice.—Mice dislike the smell pf turpentine, so if rags soaked in it are placed at the entrance to their holes it will often get rid of them. To Clean Cream Serge.—Ground rice is a good thing with which to clean cream sorgo that is not too soiled.
