MYSTERIOUS MURDER IN FRANCE.

ENGLISHWOMAN BRUTALLY ATTACKED. PARIS, May 200. Mrs Florence, Wilson, an Englishwoman, aged 50, was brutally murdered in the sand dunes near Le Bourget, at which place she lived in a rented bungalow. She was strangled and stabbed sfcveral times. There was evidence of a great struggle—the sand was churned up with numerous footmarks. The woman’s handbag was intact. Mrs Wilson’s husband arrived from London during the week-end. There have been two arrests effected one being a deaf mute. The police believe that, there may be some connection o with the unsolved mystery of Nurse Daniels, the young Englishwoman who was strangled last year. DEAF MUTE SUSPECTED. LONDON, May 21. A Paris message states that there are knife wounds in Mrs Wilson’s neck, breast and back, any one of which would have been fatal. There was money in the woman’s handbag, so robbery was nolg, the motive. She had been playing golf, and chose to walk home alone. When she did not arrive, her husband informed the police, whose dogs eventually found the body in the brushwood. A man’s torn coat, covered with blood, was found near the place where a deaf mute named Vandre works. Yandre by signs denies the murder, but he was previously charged with assaults on women and he has been detained at an asylum for degenerates.
