CLEAN SWEEP OF PRIZES.
UNUSUAL THEFT AT A SCHOOL,
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCIIURCH, This Dav.
A despicable ease of theft occurred at the Durham Street schoolroom, when the prizes, valued at £25, for Sunday School children, were removed from a table. The prize-giving was to be held at the anniversary tea on Wednesday evening next. Teachers were in the hall on Saturday evening arranging the prizes. While they went out of the room some intruder entered and made away with all the prizes.
