PREMATURE EXPLOSION

TWO MEN KILLED. (By Telegraph —Press Association.) NELSON, This Day. A premature explosion on the relief works at Hope Junction resulted in the death of two men and serious injury to a third. The killed are:— E. P. Eotheram (next of kin, C. E. Rotheram, 175, Taranaki Street, Wellington), Dennis Phillips (mother, Mrs F. Phillips, 86, Nottingham Street, Karpri). The injured man, who was brought to the hospital at Nelson is George P. Gillespie, whose mother lives at Gatlins River.
