TRACTOR DEMONSTRATION.
THE WONDERFUL CATERPILLAR.
A demonstration of the capabilities of the Caterpillar tractor is to be given, at the Central Development Farm on Friday morning, at 10 a.m. The' principle of the “caterpillar" is the same as the huge Holt caterpillar motors that did such excellent work in the soft ground of France and Belgium in 1917-18, In America they are now extensively used on road and railway construction as well as in every sphere of farm work. It is estimated that the caterpillar can do the work quickef, better and cheaper than any other motive power and will work efficiently in ground where it would be impossible to use either horses, bullocks or the ordinary type of tractor. An invitation is extended to every farmer in the district to be present at this demonstration.
