Mr F. J. Ramsay, of Levin, is on a visit to Wanganui, whither lie has been called owing to the serious illness of his father. -
The death is recorded in a Press cable received from Tokio this* morning, of Prince Isaburo Yamagata, son of the famous statesman, and formerly civil governor of Korea. '>
Mr Wilson Heaps, a prominent citizen of Nelson, has died, at the. age of 89. For years he was Collector of Customs, Sheriff, and Stipendiary Magistrate for Motueka, Takaka and Collingwood.
