, — p SEVEN CHILDREN FATHERLESS. ipi’r Press. Association.) TE AWAMUTU, August U. Alfred W. Jones, iarmer, of l‘okurui, was killed last night. He was proceeding home by car Irom l.e Awumutu and evidently got out to crank the engine, which was left m gear. The vehicle moved forward, pinning him to the ground and sulfocating him. His body was found this morning below the car by a roadman. Deceased leaves a widow and seven children. He was widely known throughout the Waikato.
