THE FERTILZERS. ACT.
' *!— PROVISIONS OVERLOOKED BY STOREKEEPERS. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, August 15. The Department of Agriculture states that in some provincial towns and country districts, certain storekeepers, whose business includes the sale of fertilizers, are overlooking the provisions of the Fertilizers Act. 1908, which requires that before offering any such goods for sale every vendor must be registered with the Department. It is therefore considered advisable to warn such traders that they are rendering themselves liable to prosecution without notice for a breach of the Act.
