■i. N.Z. LEAGUERS AT TOOWOOMBA. (Received Wednesday, 9.5 p.m.) BRISBANE, August 12. In a League match. Toowoomba sixteen defeated New Zealand fourteen. At half time, Toowoomba led eight—three. It was an exciting, fast and hard game. New Zealand being unlucky to lose. The New Zealanders gave the best display of the tour. Delgrosso and Avery scored two tries each and Dufty kicked one goal.
