j REGISTERS ANOTHER^SUCCESS. ! Those who attended the stalls at the j Century Hall, yesterday afternoon ; and last evening spent very liberally I indeed. Practically all the articles ! of clothing were quitted at fair prices . and the other stocks vanished in re- ‘ cord time; The afternoon tea service, was very as wefe the bran tub and~the tulip bed. The winners oi the four work competitions were:— D’Oyley (crocheted), i —Miss Mary Cameron. D’Oyley tern- ; broiidered).—ln this competition a tie occurred between Miss M. Cameron and Miss G. Honore (Palmerston N.), , and the judge decided to give a. spec- ■ ial prize in order to get over the difficulty. 4 Article of Children’s Clothing.—Mrs F. H. Pirani, Unique Novelty.—Miss F. E. Coates. Dainty Apron.—Miss Winnie Walker. Tenders were called for several usej ful pieces of furniture, etc., and the ' , prices obtained therefrom were high. 1 ly satisfactory and helped materially in swelling the funds of the boys’ dej partment, which was being so capably conducted by Mrs and Miss Hansom. The Home and Foreign Missions I will benefit to the extent of approximately £95, as a result of the strenuous efforts of those who organised the j bazaar. During' a conversation with ; a “Chronicle’’ representative Mrs T. F. Gibson said how grateful she was to all those who had so liberally contributed towards tire success of the venture both as to gifts of materials and articles and also to those who had so successfully organised their stalls.
