SETTLED OUT OF DOUBT.
(Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, August 1 ii. In the Supreme Court it was stated that parties had practically agreed on a settlement on the claim lor £IOOO by the Public Trustee as executor in deceased’s estate arising out of the death of Miss Elsie Roberts last November against the driver of a motor car, William Pittman, subsequently convicted on a charge of manslaughter.
