AMERICANS’ BIG GAMBLE.
New York, December 2ft. Americans have invested half a billion dollars in German marks, according ui authoritative information obtained in hanking circles here to-day. Should the German currency ever reach its pre-war value of 2-1 cents, a new crop of American millionaires would he created from the investors. Unless steps are taken to stabilise ibe nuuk, however, bankers fear that these dreams of millions may be shattered, and that Investors nihy face losses instead of gains.
