WIREMU COMMITTED FOR TRIAL. A special sitting of the Magistrate's Court was lield in Levin to-dav before Mr E. Pane. >S.M., when Holiepa Wirc,mu (Joe Williams) was charged" as follows: "Thut oil April 21. 191!), at Levin. by an uulawtul ait, to wit, m'jjjligently driving a motor car, he did kill one Richard Henry J'Yechtling." Detective-Sergeant Quirke prosecuted and tho same evidence was .submitted as at the inquest on Monday last, nothing now being disclosed.
Acousecf, who was 'unrepresented by counsel, ])leaded not guilty, and was committed for trial at the Supreme Court at Pa'.merston North on May 12.
