The first week of the Val Trigge mission in the Century Hall wias brought to a close last evening with the largest and most successful meeting of the series, Mr Trigge has qualities which make him eminently fitted for his work I and these were strikingly in evidence in his address last evening. The subject was " A sleep _ in' Church," and everyone was wide awake and listening with both ears to the original and searching message of the evangelist. As an exponent of the appeal through the emotions Mr Trigge has few, rivals. Had be not been an evangelist he might easily have won fame on the stage. Thus he presents old truth with vivid and arresting clearness, and his message grips with unusual power. To-morrow night Mr Trigge's subject will be " Life's Supreme Question."
