Mr D. Sinit,., manager of tfie Horowheuua Fruitgrowers' .Association reports for the week ending yesterday (Friday). During the week the sales were good and fruit moved freely, for instance, on Wednesday morning 27 eases were sold locally and 18 cases outside. Apples are coining in freely and .soiling at 2k (3d per half asu to 7s per whole case. A few canes ol peaches and nectarines nre .still coming to hand and are going out to consumers at from 2s to 4s (3d per half case. Pears are .selling well at to 6« 6d.

Orchardists are showing increased attention to packing in some instances the work' is being done exceptionally well. It pays well as it only costs about IJd per ease and packed, graded and wrapped fruit often brings fd' per ease more than fruit marketed in the old style. LKVIN STOCK SALES. The stock yesterday w.ere quiet and the yarding.s about the average. I'iH sheep sold at about the rates ruling at the last few sales, viz.. 2f)s to 21s.
