LADIES' CROQUET GLUB
A fair attendance of ladies was present at the meeting held yesterday afternoon in the schoolroom for <li<? organisation oi the Levin Ladies' Croquet Club and the election of officers. -Mrs C. H. Pyku, was elected to the chair. The following officers were elected: President, Alls C. H. Pyke ; viee-presi dents. Alesdames Kirk, Lodge, Roe; general management committee: Aleslames J. Alclntyre, H. Hall, J. Ryder, G. I'. Brown. AV. l'ark, H. Lodge. F. Roe, G. K. Douglas. P. Bartholomew and ,J. Alatcohn. Afternoon tea committee: Alesdames Kirk .''nrteous, Clark, Vincent, Aliases Gardiner and Duff. •. Airs Kirk was elected leader of the cluUr * Ali'.s -JS. Al. Her rick was chosen secretary. It was decided that honorary in .Millers provide a plate on the occasions when there are visitors. The subscription was iixed at J'Js per year commencing next season. The siiliscrpitioii for the present season was fixed at ss, this sum to be paid r.n <> ■ before April Ist. The rest' of the br-laws Here discussed and passed without amendment.
