Mr and Airs H. J. Lovell-Smith returned to Hastings yesterday after spending a short holiday in Taupo and the Bay of Plenty district. Mr, Airs and Miss Ramsay, of Feilding, have returned home after a week’s noliday with Alts Al. NewricK, sour., Hastings, and Mrs B. Komp, of Waipukurau. Aliss Campbell, Plunket nurse at Waipukurau, has left for Christchurch, here her father is seriously ill. Two New Zealand girls, the Aliases Aleg Williams and Annette Strange, are appearing in “Folies d-Apache.” the new tS.Myweek revue at Grosvenor House, London. Alias Williams is a neice of Aliss Elsie Williams, Frimley, Hastings, and Aliss Strange, a daughter of Air. Walter Strange, of Palmerston North.
