PUKETAPU FLOWER SHOW
Dance in the Evening Lovers of horticulture are reminded of the rose and sweet pea show to be held by-the Puketapu Women’s Institute on Saturday afternoon next at 2 o’clock in the Puketapu Hall. A splendid schedule, containing a wide range of classes, has been provided, and many of Hawke’s Bay'd choicest blooms will be displayed. From the beautiful blooms now being gathered i,t is anticipated that Saturday’s display will surpass that of previous shows. Townspeople can look forward to spending a most enjoyable afternoon among the blooms. Afternoon tea will be available.
In the evening a dance will be held, for which the services of Munro’s orchestra have been engaged. Every effort is being made to make the function a fitting wind-up to the show.
