ROAD CYCLE RACE
Handicaps for Big Event on Saturday MANY OUTSIDE RIDERS The following handicaps have been declared lor the Hawke’s Bay amateur road cycle race, whiea will start from Slort-ford Lodge, Hastings, at 11 am. sharp next Saturday. The total distance is 82 miles, and the course is as follows; —Start Irom Stortford Lodge, follow main road to Waipawa; return over same coarse and continuing on to Napier via Earudon, thence to Taradale, Fernhill, to finish at Stortford Lodge between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. Competitors should pass through Napier between £ p.m. and 3 p.m.:— P.
