6/- or 7/- a Head Spent in Australia 8/10 IN ENGLAND (Received 3, 11.30 a.m.) CANBERRA, Sept. 3. Investigations by the Commonwealth nutrition inquiry indicate that on an average an Australian family spends only about 6/- or 7/- per head per week on food, compared with an expenditure of 8/10 per head per week by English families.
