CORONATION SEATS

New Zealand Visitor Disappointed

SPECULATORS IN EARLY (By Telegraph—Press Aesti.— Copyright.) (Received 3, 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, Hept. 2. A leading New Zealander who endeavoured to reserve seats on the route of the coronation possession told tho Associated Press that there was not one seat available at a reasonable price, though he offered throe guineas for moderate positions. It appears that speculators snapped up all available positions as soon as the route was announced. Some even gambled on the route and booked heavily before the announcement. It is understood that New Zealand has applied for a reserve to accommodate a thousand, for which hundreds of applications have already been received. The official secretary is circularising the applicants stating that it is anticipated that the demand will considerably exceed the supply and urging that private reservations are desirable.
