Election Next Month
Six members of tho Hawke’s Bay Education Board retire from office shortly, through effluxion of time, but are eligible for re-election. An election will be held on July 15, and nominations close on June 24.
The following are the members who retire. —North ward of the rural area, Air. C. R. Sainsbury; middle ward of the rural area, Rev. R. B. Waugh; south ward of the rural area, Mr. W. Cuthbertson; Gisborne urban area, Mr. J. S. Wauchop; Napier urban area, Mr. T. "Rowe: Hastings urban area, Air. G. A. Maddison.
