No Purchase Just Yet That the council is not contemplating any purchase of additional land lor reserves at present is the purport of the reply that the Hastings Borough Council is to make to an offer of an area which, it was considered, would bo a most suitable site for a sports area in Hastings. The council, at its meeting last evening, was asked to acquire the property of Mr J. T. Blake situated in Jervois street and - containing 8 acres 1 rood 27 perches. > The purchase price asked was £3IXIO.
