Projected Conference In London DR. EARLE PAGE’S HOPES (Received 99, 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, Juno 8. Dr. Earle Page, Australian Minister, upon his return from Denmark, informed the Associated Press that discussions with the Foreign Minister, Dr. P. R. Munch, showed that Australian and Danish butter interests were reconcilable. Dr. Page unofficially discussed the project of an Australian, New Zealand and Danish butter boards’.meeting following tho completion of the AngloAustralian marketing conferences with the object of reaching an understanding on the regulation of butter marketing. Dr. Pago stated that if this is achieved it will mean improved prices for producers in tho countries concerned, while creating stable prices for the consumer. Opportunity may be taken to open the discussion when Danish butter interests visit England in the next fortnight.
