Man Pelted with Eggs

LONDON, June 7

Disapproving of the efliminate appearance of a man in the window neat of a restaurant, 200 Harrow schoolboys pelted him with eggs and vegetables and threatened to throw him into a pond. They chased him along the street, where he took refuge in a shop. Shopkeepers did a brisk trade in eggs and tomatoes.

The headmaster, as punishment, has curtailed the boys’ recreation hours.
