AUCKLAND BURGLARY

Forcing an unused trapdoor in the floor of an old three-storeyed building occupied by Ward and Co., clothing manufacturers, at Newton last night thieves stole from the factory bolts of serge, worsted material suits, and overcoats of a total value of £3OO. The trapdoor had not been used foi the last 11 years and was nailed down. The thieves disregarded materials containing patterns.
