Air A. H. Heillord. a member of the stall of tho State Theatre, Napier, nas received advice of his appointment to the managership of tho Fuller-Hayward Theatre Corporation, Ltd’s., theatre at Ashburton. Air and Mrs Heillord leave Napier tomorrow morning.
Queen Salottc, of Tonga, and the Prince Consort, Prince Tugi, arrived in Auckland yesterday by the Aorangi. They are proceeding to Sydney.
Mr Carl Healy, representative for !t. C. Williamson, Ltd., arrived in Hastings yesterday to complete arrangements for the appearance of the New Dramatic Comedy Co. at the Municipal Theatre.
Dr. Olaf AlcClure Spence is reported by cable to have passed his final medical examination. Dr. .Spence is the second son of the Rev. W. Sponco and Mrs Spence, of Singleton, N.B.W. Airs Spence is at present visiting her mother, Airs McClure, Napier.
