Waipukurau v. Te Aute The first round of the Central Hawke’s Bay Rugby Sub-Union’s competition was completed on Saturday, when Te Aute met Waipukurau on Central Park. Old Boys v. Takapau Waipukurau High School Old Boys defeated Takapau B by 30—6. Waipawa v. Te Aute The Waipawa junior team was defeated by Te Aute College 34 —nil. The Bev. J. Hogg was referee. Waipawa v. Omakere The Waipawa senior team played a friendly match with Omakere, at Omakere. The Waipawa team was shorthanded and Omakere secured a win, nine — nil. Mr G. Harvey acted as referee.
