Licensing Committee’s Annual Meeting From Our Own Correspondent. WAIPAWA, June 5. The annual meeting ot the Waipawa Licensing Committee was held in tho Courthouse Waipawa., yesterday, tho chairman, Air J Miller. S.M. presiding over Messrs. C. H. Critchley. H 1. Limbrick, R. McLean, \V. G. Bryce and J Wham by Renewals oi licenses were granted as follow:—P. Coady (Crown. Norsewood). T. W. Wills (Empire, Waipawa.), 1> J. O’Brien (Exchange, Havelock North). O. Upton (Imperial, Waipawn), F. Newnck (Junction, Norsewood), A. T. Walker (I’atangata), R. W. Rust (Railway Otane), T. P. Sullivan (Sandford, Ougaougu.), J. Murphy (lakapaui. C L. Crooks (Tavistock Waipukurau), C. Hart (To Aute), W. H. Ta,'lor (Clive). Publicans’ licenses were granted to Thomae Dunn ol the Settlers' Arms Hotel likukiuo; C. M. Petersen tor Commercial Hotel Waipawa; and Guort Ihomassen, Wanstead Hotel. The following transfers were approved and granted: Commercial Hotel. Waipawa J. f). O’Sullivan to I C. M. Petersen. Sawyers Arms Hotel, f ikokuio C. M Petei’sci: to ’.I Dunn; Wanstead Hotel. E. W Cault< - to G. Thomassen.
