—— * • — —— Name to be H.B. and East Coast The weekly meeting of the Hastings Model Aero Club was held last night in the, club room, Kelly’s Buildings, Market street, Hastings. T he recommendations of the executive were adopted providing for changing tbo mime t u the Hawke’s Bay and E Coast Model Aero Club. The club w ill affiliate with the N.Z. M.A.C. and accept country members at threepence » month. Notification was received from the N.Z- M.A.C. that the conference of affiliated model clubs will be in session at Palmerston North from to-day. Delegates were invited but the club found it impossible to arrange representation at such short notice. Mr. Dowell was accepted into membership and elected to an honorary position. Mr. Dowel] has made his workshop available for the use of members at all times. Mr. Roy Symonds donated a set. of prints of models; Messrs McLeod and Gardner sufficient timber for benches, seats, etc.; Mr. Gordon Roach and other donor (anonymous) each made a donation to fill particular needs. Final arrangements were ai nonneed for the flying meeting on this Sunday between the Napier and this club.
