MURDER OF JAPANESE
British Soldiers Not Concerned (Received 6. 11 15 a.m.) LONDON, June 5. “The Times” diplomatic correspondent says that the officer commanding the British troops at Peking has completed a formal inquiry into the alleged murder of the Japanese officer Sasaki. Evidence was taken on oath, resulting in establishing without question that British soldiers were not iu tho vicinity of the occurcuce, confirming the preliminary inquiry. An inquest is impossible, as Sasaki's body had been promptly burnt.
