“PLAYERS” ENTERTAIN
An Anniversary Celebrated
At the conclusion of the play-readmu by the Napier Reportory Players on Wednesday evening, a number of tne players were entertained at supper by Mr and Mrs W. J. O’Connell, to celebrate the first anniversary of the wedding of that couple. The occasion was a very happy one, all present thoroughly enjoying the evening. Iceland poppies adorned the dining room, where a choice buffet supper was served. Mrs O’Connell was wearing a very smart model gown of black ring velvet.
Those present were; Mr and Mrs W. J. O’Connell, Mrs T. Dunn, Mrs 11. S. Hindmarsh, Mrs W. G. Wood, Mrs W. Gibson, Miss J. Cunningham, Miss B. Bradley, Miss M. J’enton; Messrs A. Cunningham, H. Spencer, K. Doniglas, W. Wishaw.
