ORPHANS’ CLUB KORERO
Season Opens To*morrow Night
The Hastings Orphans ’ Club will opou their 1936 season with the korero which is to bo held in the Ritz Tearooms to-morrow night at 8 o ’clock. Future korerus will be held on Tuesday night, but owing to a clash in boohing dates, it was found ueeessary ro nave the opening korero to-morrow night. A very fine programme has neeu arranged, this including the installation of Chief Orphan Donald Campbell, and an appeal is made to old and new members to roll up in full force and give the season a good start-off.
There? is every indication that the season will be even more enjoyable than that of last year, provided the support of members is forthcoming. It Is understood that already 20 new members have been nominated this season, so the prospects ahead are quite bright.
