Capital To Be Doubled
SIDNEY, June 3 The shareholders of Woolworth* Ltd., unanimously adopted proposals for capitalising £121,909 of reserves by a bonus iasuo of ordinary shares of £1 each an fully paid on a share-l'or-stiare basis.
The meeting also agreed that the capital of the company bo increased from £1,000,000 to £2,000,000 by tho frealiou of one million additional ordinary shares of £1 each.
ft was explained that the reserves to be capitalised formed part of a sum standing to tho credit of tho Assets Revaluation Reserve Account. Tho now bonus shares participate in dividends declared after yesterday’s date.
