Japan to Make a Final Appeal OSAKA RESOLUTION (Received 3, 10.30 a.m.) TOKIO, June 2. It is understood that the Governincut is finally appealing to Australia to reconsider the tariff increases. It is reported that Manchukuo has signified its willingness to take united action agaiust Australian wheat. Eight provincial chambers of commerce meeting at Osaka passed a resolution in Regard to Australia’s action as a declaartion of a trade war, and urged the Government decisively to retaliate, also to establish a basic trad* policy, especially in regard to tho supply of raw materials.
